The apex court, by a 3:2 majority judgment, held triple talaq being practised by the Muslim community as “unconstitutional”, “arbitrary” and “not part of Islam”. The SC has banned the practice among Muslim community where a man could divorce his wife by saying the word “talaq” three times. But, their are many Muslim celebs in bollywood who goes for legal divorce instead of Triple Talaq.
