The Girl begging for mercy in a video shared by Kohli turns out to be singer Toshi Sabri’s niece

A video of a young girl being scolded by her mother for not been able to read out numbers from 1-5 correctly had gone viral on social media. In the video, the girl was terrorised and was even slapped twice by her mother. Several celebrities took on to their social media account to express their anguish and raising a big question on this type of parenting.

Now the young girl who was seen in the video turns out to be Toshi Sabri’s niece. Toshi and Sharib Shabri are the Bollywood singers who gave their voice to the film Raaz the Mystery Continues.Both these singers have strongly dissented with the views of cricketers like Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan who severely criticised the parents for traumatising the kid. Toshi while speaking to Hindustan Times claimed that the video was made exclusively for family WhatsApp group and said that her parents care for her more than anyone else and no right has the right to advise them on how parenting is done.

“Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan don’t know about us. Hamare bachche ke bare mein humein pata hai naah ki hamara bacha kaisa hai! Uska nature hai waisa… Agle hi pal woh khelne chali jaati hai. Agar aap usko chod do toh woh kahengi main mazzak kar rahi thi. Uske nature ki wajah se chod denge toh woh padai bhi nahi kar paayengi. (We know about our child better. Haya’s nature is such that after being scolded, the next minute she runs off to play. But, because of her nature if we don’t push her, she won’t study.),” Toshi told HT.

Toshi added that on merely a video of 1.5 minutes Questioning the love of a mother is never justified and she was just trying to make her child learn numerical’s who otherwise is very adamant not to study. Parenting is never an easy task sometimes we have to pamper our kids while many a time we have to be strict and both these are only targeted at the welfare of the Child, said Toshi.

Sharib sabri even shared video of his niece in which he wrote”trying to call her toshi mama love the voice of my janaam”
