Amitabh Bachchan has donated an earthmover and a tractor to mechanise the cleaning of Versova beach, launched by local resident Afroz Shah.

Shah tweeted, "Week 100 cleanup. @SrBachchan gifts 2 mean machines by to clean the oceans. Thank you sir. You are an angel to us and marine species."

Big B had been part of the clean up campaign in August and was horrified to see the filth.
