The director of the film 'Secret Superstar', Advait Chandan, has handled the personal management department of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan for a long time before helming the film.

For nearly 11 years, he has worked with Aamir Khan as his manager. He would surely be knowing many secrets of Aamir.

When mid-day asked Advait about a secret of Aamir that fans would not know, Advait recalls an interesting story.

Advait Chandan says, "Aamir sir could beat me on this matter that I have revealed this secret of his that once he sleeps, then nobody can wake him up. No matter what happens. This I am talking about the time when his films are not releasing or he has got rest from shooting or he is on a break. I still remember when we were in New York, there is a special type of circus there. It is quite a famous circus. Its tickets are very expensive. But I wanted to see it, so I told Aamir sir. He even agreed. A cost of one ticket was Rs 40,000-50,000. I got ready at the right time. I kept trying to wake up Aamir Sir, but he didn't get up. That's why we could not go. But when he is having work and has given a commitment, then he arrives half an hour before time. I was a manager, so I used to take care of the fact that I, too, should reach before time."

Advait Chandan told that he completed the 'Secret Superstar' script when he used to get some time off from his work. When Aamir Khan used to shoot, Advait Chandan used to go to his vanity van and work on the script. Kiran Rao encouraged him to complete the script.

During the time of 'Satyamev Jayate', when he got an opportunity to travel the whole country along with Aamir, he got the idea of the script from there.

'Secret Superstar' will release this Diwali.

Aamir Khan has a guest appearance in the film.
